Try turning your firewall off.

Restart computer and router. Also click the 'Repair' option if there is one, tell us the code it gives you if it doesn't repair it.

Try the following two things:

Open up run then type: regsvr32 softpub.dll
after that, find the following file: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ho­sts and open it with Notepad, then add the following at the bottom:

65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net

I just did a quick Google search so those may not work. Also, when you're done both of those steps restart MSN.
