well i want to learn how to code layouts. how can i learn?

Go to w3schools and look up CSS, read through that and you'll be half way.

Get a coded layout, look at it live, then look at the source and figure out what does what.

My favorite way is too use fireworks, or use any crop tool and export it too another file, save it, then add the image into the web page.

Make sure the cropped images are exactly correct.
