How can I get my farming to 40 fastest

What's the fastest way to get my farming to 40.

It's currently 26.

What I did and it went quick for me, the allotment patches at Catherby and Falador, plant tomatoes there and at the trees patches, Falador, Lumbridge, Varrock and Taverly, plant oaks,

Thats what I did, I paid the gardener and went and did other things.

try sq'irk gardens
this is great for thieving but also gets farming/herblore up depending which you choose to do
to get here go to al kharid and talk to osman?? forgot his name
outside al kharid warrior palace
talk to him about sq'irks
then go to the witches palace east of the desert entrance and talk to the apprentice
keep mentioning the garden
eventually she will be able to teleport you there

plant tree seeds and fruit tree seeds.. n just leave them to grow ^^ easy.
