    Default My cat

    Hi,

I'm making this thread about my cat, Timmy. I just wanted to share with the forum what a great life he had .

When I was about 1 or 2 there was this cat that would come round our house and wanted food, we knew he didn't have a home so we would feed him. We then started to let him come in the house and look after him.

While he was with us we had some one come round and say he stole some turkey from there house, lol.

We never really named him or knew his age till he went to the vets. The vets asked my mum what his name was, but we didn't have one (well we did, but it would change every year or so). The vet that asked my mum was called Tim, my mum had to think of a name quick and called him Timmy, he has been called Timmy ever since. We also found out he was the same age as me, which at the time was about 9 or 10.

Sadly a few years later he had eaten some rat poison and there was a chance he could die, but he didn't! I was so happy when I heard the news.
He also broken one of his legs, but then a few months later and he was fine.

Sadly at the beginning of this year we found out he was about 90% blind and he also had to eat some special food.

On the 1st of April 2008 I found out he had been put down. It was really upsetting.

Timmy did have a really great life, he was 17 in human years, I think that's 119 in cat years. He would love to catch birds and leave them out side the back door. He would also love a bit of milk and being tickled under the chin or behind the ear.
