If I get a Wii in Canada will it work in the UK?

I thought it was region free? or maybe thats the PS3? I bought DS games in America and they worked on my normal DS

my wii has a two pin plug so i just put a plug convertor on it and it works fine.

Yes you play it here. But you would need a converter to be able to plug it into a uk Socket.
Also theres the problem with games. Due to the recent 3.3 update you can no longer use a freeloader to play foreign games. If the wii is 3.2 or below you can use freeloader.
But on the up side games from canada are quite cheap i got a game there for £20. plus you will get games before there released here. ^_^
You would just need to find a good site to order games from. and if you ask them to mark the pakage you wont need to pay custom charges if your hit ^^Last edited by Southe,; 09-08-2008 at 10:42 PM.
