Default Art GCSE BBC Student Gallery

I was just browsing the bbc bitesize gallery, and I looked at the Art section, and there's a gallery for student work. Somewhere in here it says that the examples are from students who all got A*.
I find it so annoying that all they needed to do was do loads and loads of work, and get A* when their final paintings look like they were done by 12 year olds. I don't mean to insult these people (sorry, I know I just did) but it just irritates me so much that they got top grades for this work.

    Sorry, I've finished whining now.

That's the whole point. They done **** loads and worked their butts off so they got high grades. My sister done hardly any coursework but a really good final piece and she only just pulled off a B.

Though I must admit, they're pretty awful pictures. I'm doing GSCE art next year

What's the point in an Art GCSE when all you need is loads of pages filled with crap?

I did no work for my art GCSE but I'm amazing and my final piece got me an A lol. I know what you're getting at though, a lot of people who are good real artists are only getting the same grades as people who are art theorists and can put a book together

My final piece for the exam was this

It's not my best but I didn't take photos of my other ones. I had more time to paint the other ones, I was in a rush to do this. Anyhow I got an A over all.
