Do I need 36 smithing? I forgot the guide dont say if it just for the nails (that I can buy) or not.

I know I can buy the nails Im asking if i need smithing for the nails and to hammer it into the boat to fix it :S

Nope, just buy the equipment, you only need the smithing if you are going to make the nails.
