    Anybody know what this is called and where I can get one?

    You can use a normal phone line cable
    If not, you need a network cable.

    Wireless would be the best option though.

    As in, make a cable longer?

    You can get ethernet cable > ethernet cable adaptors so you can connect to cables together to make two cables into one.

    I believe it's called a double female ethernet connector/adapter.

    Which wire you trying to extend? Internet cable doesn't tell us much really.

    if you're looking for a phone line extension as nick said the end of it is called an RJ11 lead, just google that and you should find one.
