So I got my lip pierced

If anyone else has theirs done, what's your recommended method of cleaning it?
I use a cotton bud dipped in salt water and wipe the bar, and then gently push it through the hole to clean it all the way through, then swill some of the water to get rid of stuff around my mouth and what have you.
Does anyone have any better ideas or anything?

when i had mine done i used cotton buds and the solution they gave me, worked fine for me, i didnt clean inside but i was ok. had it 3 years now, dont clean anymore.. i have a ring though

i cleaned mine till i ran out of the cleanign thingy they gave me lol. I dont clean mine anymore though, had it year or two..

when i had my tongue & nose done, they said just use warm salt water and cotton buds.

What you're doing is good, but you should also soak the outside of it really - get some warm salt water in like an eggcup or something and just hold it over the piercing for a few minutes a couple of times a day. You'll look like a right fool but it'll help the piercing and it's not like you're doing it in public

I used to take the bar out clean the area out side my the hole and inside my mouth out with warm salty water, clean the bar then put it back in

Dont have it in anymore (well i had snake bites, before they became so popular ) i dont have them in now because of where i used to workthinking about getting them done again tho.

i've wanted snakebites for ages now. when they're healed, and i go back and get the smaller bars, im probably gonna buy some rings so i can alternate
