Default Programme that reads your handwriting and puts it into a font?

Is there a programme that if you scan something on your computer, it can read and translate the handwriting into a font on word?

I think most scanner software does this anyway?

However it might be that it will transfer printed text on a page to an editable font. Not sure.

I think the scanner thing is right, I'm just after a programme that will do it without the scanner doing it. Do you know any by any chance?

I've seen it before, you get a special pen, and it either wirelessly or USB port-ly copies your writing onto the computer. It's pretty cool. Don't know if you can make it into a different font though.
