Default Been scammed? But what do you do?

Have you ever been scammed? You panic when you get scammed, and forget what to do. Well, some habbos do.

Being Hacked/Scammed can be one of the worst things that can happen to you, on Habbohotel. After a few, stupid mistakes, you could have alot of furni, to none.

Here is a guide, on how to avoid getting scammed, or hacked.

Scam: The " Shout you password, and it comes up as **** " scam.

What-to-do: Call for help, and wait for a hobba to ban the scammer. your password, is NOT filtered! so dont try it. EVER!

Scam: An email from Habbo staff.. Asking you to be a hobba! But you do have to give them your habbo name and password!

What-to-do: Delete the email, and report the address to habbo!

Scam: Accept this file, over msn

What-to-do: First of all, you shouldnt add people from habbo, onto your msn.
secondly, NEVER, i say, NEVER accept files from them! You could be downloading a mega virus onto your computer, the most common one, a Keylogger! This will detect every keystroke you type on your keyboard! That means, they will obtain your password! Not good. If you dont trust the person, delete them! its simple. If they send you a file, press cansel, and block the person, then delete them.

Scam: A habbo ( normally a friend ) obtains rites in your room, then using a tool, they place a throne, (or any rare) and place it behind the wall. The owner, then gets worried saying " I've lost a throne!!!11" Then the, habbo who obtained the rites ( lets just call him, Scammer ) , says "Ill lend you one" and pulls out the one from behind the wall, and places on the floor. The owner, thanks the scammer and carries on with his life. Later, the habbo asks for the throne back, and the owner give it to him/her! Therefor, the scammer has obtained a rare!

what-to-do: Only give someone a rare(if you choose too) via the tradebox.
or, keep everything to yourself! And never borrow rares. You never know, they may decide to keep the furni.

I Will add more scams, thanks. I hope this helped
