    My screen looks massivee ahaa,

    Do you know any places i can get new ubuntu themes? and some good programs?

    I need MSN asap.

    and would be good if my screen was smaller or something? :S

    But themes and msn pls xo.

    aMSN or pidgin (www.pidgin.im) just browse around google for linux apps

    You shouldn't need to download anything at all, ubuntu normally has pidgin or gaim (the older version) pre installed.

    Package files are executables via terminal or console, open it drop the file into it and press enter and follow the instructions

    You have to use terminal for loads of stuff (such as installs)

    i know redhat systems use RPMs but you still use console/terminal for other stuff
