Well sometimes when i hold them and bend my knee they make some squeaky sound, had this for a while and not caused anything, but is there anyone else who knows what it is/ or if it does anything.

Right! its nothing to worry about because everyone gets it but not just in there knee. take me for example. my shoulders do that when i rotate them sometimes. Its normal. But if it bothers you that much go see you Gp for a definate answer.

Yeh, me kneww clicks sometimes when i bend it back aswell. but i have just put up with it.
