    Default iPod touch remote app compatability

    Does anyone know if the remote app for the touch is compatiable with firmware 2.02 / iTunes 8? It isnt working

    Well my iPod's on 2.0.2 and iTunes on 7.7 and it won't show up in iTunes. So you're not alone.
    On that note, I don't think Remote ever did work on this mac seen as it's a old one running 10.4.something.

    You could try going back to iTunes 7?

    Works fine for me make sure your on the same wifi connection and everything

    It works fine for me, although the "Remote" isn't there, the icon like the app one doesn't show. It has a playlist at the bottom called "Remote" but thats about it, nevertheless it still works and connects fine without me changing anything.

    Put iTunes 8 on Mac, works fine now. :S

    You should probably make sure you're on iTunes 8.0?
    i've been here for over 8 years and i don't know why
