    Default Mic Broken

Well It was working before. I plugged it in and everything, however when I try and talk into it there is no sound picked up. Anyone know what's wrong?

Changed any configurations? Checked the wires? Tried another mic?

(This is not question time, but it would be good to know if you have done what's above)

Nor, it has two plugs, one goes to the Headphones socket, and the other goes to the one next to it.

to be honest, it could just be knackered, I'd say the best thing to do is to invest in a new one, or if the old one is still under warranty, bring it back to where you purchased from, or follow the instructions in the manual. You can get good quality headsets for mere pennys theese days,

You say, "the hole next to it". Check if this one is a second headphone one or a microphone one (microphone one being the correct one, you may have just plugged it in incorrectly by accident.
    Kind Regards,

I was a bit vague but yes it's all plugged in properly. It was working this morning and suddenly stopped. And it's a new mic Kevin, so I don't think it's knackered, well I hope not

Where did you buy it from, If its under 30days they have to take it back, unless there was a no return policy on a certain sale, but still then you should have a guarantee from the actual producer.
