    Default Virgin media modem drivers?

    Hey.

I recently installed Ubuntu on an old PC. I'm wanting to connect to the internet using my virgin media cable modem but I need the drivers for the modem, I think. Does anyone know of any available for linux?

    Thanks,
    Jamie.

I dont think you need driver in linux (not sure) I think all you have to do is browse Ubuntu forums and either find a thread or make a new thread, Im sure someone will help you

Im not sure if your VM cable modem is the same as mine, but if it is, then don't use the USB (as there are no linux drivers as far as i know).

Instead use the ethernet port to connect to your pc. Then you dont need drivers for the modem, as long as the network port in your pc works

i doubt you'd find any drivers for it, but as someone said, try to get an ethernet connection for it. You can get ethernet cards for computers dirt cheap.
    goodbye.
