He's Gnome Warlock, should stay with a staff for questing and stuff as it may help the spell crit more or something, but when you're high level PvPing use a dagger for when they get close.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

    Serious thread?

You shouldn't be meleeing as a Warlock.... you choose daggers, swords or staves based on the stats, not how hard they hit. Look for stuff with intellect, spell damage and crit, maybe stam and spirit.

For me, stamina has always come before intellect.

When I hit 70 it was:

Spell dmg, Hit, Crit, Stamina, Intellect, Spirit

Really for the low level stuff you should stack stamina, this helps life-tap which fills up your mana bar again.

    Spell Dmg > Stamina > Crit/Intellect > Spirit

That's how I'd look at the stats, I basically had a staff right up 'til 70, then it became viable to use a one-hand sword and off-hand.
