Hey,

So... where should I begin!

There is this girl in my year at school, you know the feeling when you are head over heels for someone and... you just cant seem to get anywhere.

Here is the back story:

I pretty much fell in love with this girl the moment I met her, more so when we really started talking and such. Around this time last year, I told her how I felt and such and she was like "Oh, that's sweet. I'm just not sure yet" - Ok, I could handle being friends a bit longer.

Fast forward a few weeks, back at school and I see her kissing some guy and it was like... omg. Now it all seemed to be alright, I text her and such and I told her how I felt and stuff, the guy of course wasn't too happy about this, he said that she was upset by it. I texted her the following night saying sorry and such, and she had no idea what I was talking about.

So, here we are in the present. She and this guy broke up a week or two back and well she had admitted to me that before him she did have some feelings for me. So, now I have no idea what to do.

I want to make a move, sweep her off her feet and be in love and live happily ever after but I don't want to lose her as a friend if it all goes **** up!

Some of my mates who know of my situation are telling me to just go for it, tell her how you still feel and such. But I don't know if this is the right choice...

It also turns out that when I have asked to like meet up in town and such she can't really make it. If its not her being with her dad, its she can't do it because her ex is trying to control her. I seriously have no idea where to go from this!

(P.S - The worst thing about this whole thing is I found out that they started going out on a school trip that I could have been on, was ill and the guy got to go instead of me)

Wow, thats horrible ! I think she might be making up excuses because she doesn't want to lose you as a friend, or she could be telling the truth! You just don't know. Well I think you should just tell her how you really feel and that you really do care alot about her, you should also knock that guy out for controlling her

Yeah, the thing is though its like I don't want to always be like texting her and phoning her (I know how annoying it can get) so it's like I just want to speak to her face to face but I just always seem to get lost for words on the few separate occasions I have spoken to her alone.

Haha, yeah I thought about that once (not just because of that, some of the things he said)

Try chewing gum when you talk to her on your own it helps you to concentrate on what to say before you say it, plus it makes you smell good . If he says anything else then he deserves a good black eye because hes obviously an idiot. Text her like 3 times a week or something and ask to speak to her alone because you need to get this off your chest, just be honest with her about it all, she should understand how much you feel for her

I don't know what you can do but always remember, school relationships hardly last out of school forever. Although there is a few Just keep at it, keep strong and don't let her saying no get you down. You still get to be mates?

At the end of the day, what you are saying is true. I only get once shot at life but to be honest if she like just said "no" it would destroy me.

I know how bloomin' sad that is but its like, I just wish I had that moment yano where its like you tell the girl how you feel, she looks into your eyes and you know its right and then you kiss and its all good.

I mean, yeah I have loved and lost before but I was younger then, now it just feels so right I can't picture a life anymore perfect than a life with her...

Theres plenty more fish in the sea if she does say no, but I've been there, trust the the guy led me on for a month then went out with his cusin, incest much? But anyways I just forgot about him because I noticed his bad points and thought, he really is an idiot so try that for her if you can and find someone else, I know its hard Well I hope it works out for you anyways

I tried the Good/Bad Points thing but to be honest, I couldn't think of anything bad from what I know

It's like I just want to have some time alone with her to talk about all this but that just feels like something I am never gonna get

Oh yeah, she always used to use the "Johno, I'm really not a nice person..." thing and it was like, I don't care - I just love you too much...

Did you tell that you love her? I think she deserves to know . Just say to her, 'look I really need to talk to you because its been bugging me for a while and I think you deserve to know about it, so please pick a day for when I can talk to you face to face or I'll never be able to let you know'. She should get the message
