C'thun fun run

Went with another guild over the week to mess about in AQ40, doing an old instance for a change
For those who weren't around pre-TBC, The Temple of Ahn'Qiraj was the second-last instance to be added before the Burning Crusade, it's difficulty being second only to the Naxxramas which floats over the plaguelands until Wrath comes out (Doing Naxx at the weekend )
C'thun was the last boss in the instance, which consisted of a giant eyeball to start with. At the start of the fight, he fires an eyebeam which chains from person to person, depending on line of sight. each person it hits causes more damage, there's many a youtube vid of guilds getting wiped right at the start lol.

But just send a paladin in to soak it up with a bubble or a tank prepared and it's easy.

After the eye burn down the body comes up, fighting with tentacles and casting eye-beams until you/someone gets eaten and taken to the stomach, then you have to kill two tentacles to weaken him. You can only DPS him in this stage (like curator) because damage is reduced by tons.
Was my fave fight in old WoW, with Sapphiron in Naxx second.

i've only done AQ40 once, nab group got stuck at them twin emperor things. Total destroyance.

Naxxramas is the new Karazhan in WOTLK.

Looks more fun than Kara, but will probably get dull after so many runs.
