    Default Suggestion

To be honest, HabboxLive is getting a bit boring with just music. If I wanted to listen to music, I can just open up my iTunes and play it non-stop. And please don't just stop reading here and reply with "Then do so instead of going on HxL".

A few days ago, DJ Chicken and DJ Kiwi were on air simultaneously and actually talked through their show. I really did enjoy that 'cause it was a big change from pure music. They were actually talking about schooling and education, which is, in my opinion, important and interesting to listen to. With other DJs, it's basically the same things being said using different voices:

"Let's say, [insert number] for a rare competition. If each of you just invite one person, we can have it. And I know you can all do it 'cause you're all awesome people."

"Search [insert name] for the party, guys!"

"I'll read the shoutouts and requests after this song."

"DJ [insert name] is up next. (S)he's an awesome DJ, stay tuned."

Seriously, it's getting boring. I know it isn't the DJ's fault most of the time, but the same songs are getting played over and over again. So instead of overplaying songs, maybe DJs could substitute in with a bit of talking? I know I haven't actually structured this post very well, but I hope you get what I mean.

All DJs are different, the same songs get played because that's what gets requested and you can add your own stuff in but you cannot ignore listeners requests. If you tune into normal radio stations they play the same songs over and over, or switch on music channels so do they. There's only so much you can avoid playing a song.

The statements you gave about what DJs say, people want to know when the next competition is, where the party is, when shoutouts are read and who's up next, hence why those questions are sent through the request line and said in the party rooms.

The DJ I was listening to last night was doing a lot of talking and it was a good show, most DJs do but it depends when you tune into them as well.

Yeah, I understand that DJs play the songs that are requested by listeners. I wasn't really drilling onto that.

What I meant about the DJs saying stuff bit was that they say them in the same manner. Perhaps they could use a different wording to say them?

My main suggestion is for all DJs to talk on a specific topic throughout the show, and not just the lines I mentioned in the first post.

All DJs have different styles of DJing so the shows can't all be the same.
I do think we could talk about different subjects on air but not all listeners are interested in the same things and sometimes it's hard to pick what to talk about.
    I love it when you
    flex like that

I think that DJs do talk about their day, ask listeners what they've been up to and it helps if listeners actually respond else it's difficult to talk about something especially if you're not sure your listeners are interested so that is probably something that could be brought up to DJs, getting listeners more involed in discussions rather than just using the request line for requests.

I do tend to talk about my day and what i find intresting but just becuase one person said they want this everyone can't change to it
We try to keep everyone happy and Some people prefer songs and some prefer talking so yeah !

I think you have to listen to the DJs and see who you like then tune into them you can't appeal to everyone!

Also some Djs may not feel comfortable talking about somethings like their day for some reasons

After this thread, I consciously chose to do subjects on the request line

So you are saying you want all the DJ's to be told to say things differently.
e.g DJ #1 say "Search ____ for the party room"
DJ#2 say the same(ish?) with your voice a bit higher + more excited.
    etc.

The DJ's play what is requested, What is requested is what is popular, What is popular is what people like. If you don't like HabboxLive music..then just use iTunes or find a different radio instead of complaining.

    Imagine if you were a HxL DJ, You read this thread and then it get's taken into action;
"ALL DJ'S MUST TALK DIFFERENTLY TO HOW THE LAST ONE SPOKE PLEASE!"

If you see what I mean.. lol

EDIT: Lol at me being able to post here:8
EDIT: oh.. anyone can post :S

All I will say is that if it annoys you that much then simply don't tune in. Most HabboxLive DJs will do that on air. It's only natural.

Great guys, great. And yeah, I've already started to use my iTunes instead of HabboxLive for most the DJs. All the identical talk is starting to make me sick.
