Yeah I need this, what's it do when you turn Iron on (I already have it)?

iron makes it so that if anyone dies in the mission
it starts from the very beggining of it

I've done it and it isn't the start of the mission, it's the last checkpoint, so its basically kill all enemies and get a checkpoint. It is pretty easy.
