go to another persons town, steal their fruit (if its diff to urs) then grow it, then cut down ur trees or plant new ones of their fruit so u've got a tonne of foreign fruit trees growin. each 1 sells for 300 each

Collect lots of money, so fish steal lots of fruit ect. then place it all in your bank
save turn off and go to the ds settings and change the date 10 years later.
you brank will have gained intrest. then keep doing it. eventually when you will start to get like 99,000 each time you do it. side effect is some ppl might leave your town and weeds

I used an action replay for mine, though before I had it, I used to collect fruit and sell it.

Dig up fossils, get them checked from Blathers at the museum and then sell them to tom nook in a bunch.
Also, don't pay your mortgage. It's not like hes gonna kick you out or anything unless you want extentions and a hair-salon at Tom-Nook's store then, pay it!
