Right, so I have two machines and basically I want to link them so I can play unreal tournament against my bro .

I have no idea how to set up a home network thing, so any help is appreciated.

Another thing, is file sharing optional and will the other computers (dad's) be able to see what I'm going on, ie certain sites *cough* ?

No they won't be able to see what sites

You can either use a LAN cable from port to port and create an ADHOC network (just manually set the IP addresses on them both, Google it.) or make a network with your dad etc etc and your router will dish out IPs, this would be easiest.

Yeah did that last night.

I think it was already done, not sure cos I just hosted a game, made my bro put in the IP of this machine and we were rolling.
