Strategy games (War/Civilisation)

Hey, I'm looking for a good PC strategy game, one where there's war and civilisations... kinda like Age of empires dawn of the modern world, but more towards the WWII part of it.

If anybody could name some I'd appreciate it.

Rise of Nations: Gold Edition. I couldn't tell you a better game where you bring up a civilization and then fight. You can set the ages from the ancient age to the information age. World War II features in this game are impressive, and you can do World War II scenarios, such as you vs USSR.
