    First one, Times everything on top by 7 and everything on bottom by 3. That will cancel the x's out and will leave 56y = -7 and -18 y = 141. Then you add the 56 and 18 (Two - = +) and that gives you 74, so 74y = (Add the -7 and 141 so its 134). Then you work out y so y = 134/74 = 1.81 re-occuring, which sounds really wrong so don't take my word on that LOL. Other way is to substitute, so you find out Y = Something by moving the other digits to the other side, and then you substitute that into the other one by replacing Y with what you get. It sounds long so I'm not sure. The ones right at the bottom, I'm too tired to explain right now lol, good luck!

    1st 4....
    check them to ake sure they are rght, i may have lied

    1. x = 5 y = -2
    2. p = 6 q = 4
    3. When p = 4, q = 2 and when p = 5, q = 4
    4. x = -2.4 and y = -5.5

    Fine ill do it again...

    PART ONE
    ___________________________________________

    3x+8y=-1 ------- Equation 1
    7x-6y=47 ------- Equation 2

    (1)x3 -- 9x+24y=-3
    (2)x4 -- 28x-24y=188
    (28+9)x=37x -- (188+(-3))=185
    37x = 185
    x = 185/37
    x = 5

    Substitute x=5 into equation 1

    3x+8y=-1
    15+8y=-1
    8y=-16
    y = -2

    So u can figure rest out
