Don't think thats possible, did you try on the network settings (192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 usually is the default gateway for netgear) and see if theres any settings allowing you to edit?

I've never thought that was possible though But i use belkin so..

That helped improve my Xbox Live settings dramatically, it's designed to help Belkin users but with a bit of know how, it'll sort your Netgear router out too.

To give is priority over other connections your router needs to support something called QoS. However, this is normally limited to business and enterprise class routers and its something I doubt you'll find on your average home router.

I've seen some that do, but not very many.

May i suggest changing your routers NAT settings?
and also allocating a port might also help.

Just google some of these terms.
