X Factor "angel" Diana Vickers is really a wild child who worked in a pub when she was 16 and loves boozy nights out.
And even after drinking her favourite Cheeky Vimto and blue WKDs until the early hours, Diana, 17, still makes it to classes at her private all-girls school.
A friend at Westholme School, Blackburn, said: "I couldn't believe it when I saw Diana on screen looking so fresh faced for a change. She was a million miles away from the girl I know.
"She's a wild child when she goes out. Diana just loves to party."
Diana has won loads of X Factor fans with her voice of an angel and pretty face including judge Dannii Minogue who calls her a "little doll".
But her mate said: "She loves socialising and getting dressed up for a night on the town. We go to an all girls school, so going out drinking is the only way we get to meet boys.
"She won't get in until the early hours but still manages to get to school on time after a heavy night out.

"Although she can come into lessons looking rough. She has had a few tellings off for still having last night's make-up on."
Diana's been dating Manchester University student Chris Jones, 18, for the past six months.
He said: "We both love going out socialising. She's such a nice girl and absolutely stunning. I really love her."
He has known Diana since she was 11 but they hooked up again after she served him and his dad in a pub last year. Chris added: "I first found out she could sing when we were at a party, she would just get up and sing."
But he fears her fame might jeopardise their relationship.
Chris said: "She does get a lot of attention now she is on TV, I try not to get jealous."
And he revealed that contestant Austin Drage, is keeping a watchful eye over her.
Chris, studying events management, added: "I'm quite good mates with Austin now and I know he is looking after my girl."

I'm not a big fan of her voice but I wouldn't say she 'screeched' down the mic. She just has a different sound to her which some will love and some will hate.

Yeah, I agree with Dan.
She's got a voice but its not amazing.
It might be unique, not amazing.
