    Will it affect how it works?

    Can I replace the Home Hub, with the old Livebox?

    Wouldn't that be breaking your contract with BT for the broadband?

    I'd stick with the BT one.

    You'll probably have to reflash the firmware on the Livebox, but there's no reqason for it not to work and it shouldn't be breaking and BT ToS i don't think.
