Oh, in my absence of wow, and looking on the forums i discovered a couple things.

Casters have always been able to miss, but only now they have seperated resist and miss and added an animation.

Also, you'd miss since its like orange and you resist/miss more wiv dem.

Before TBC I remember mobs missing my spells rather than resisting them (I was only a low level). I'm assuming that the resist was highly added in tbc and then it's been brought back down.

You can still resist though, my CoS still lets me resist spells.
No more dreaming of the dead as the death itself was undone
No more crawling like a crow for a boy, for a body in the garden
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so long
No more dreaming like a girl so in love, so long
Dreaming like a girl so in love with the wrong world.

    Ill explain it again,

There has ALWAYS been resist + miss for spells, but were grouped under resist. Now in 3.0 they were seperated. You can tell this, not only coz they said, but if you get a rogue and get them to use clos and start using spells, it misses instead of resists which it used to.
