    Default Actually remembering things...

    Right, here's my problem, lol.

I can never get how to code things stuck into my head, I can read tutorials and understand them, but it just doesnt stick. If you give me a bit of code, I can tell you what it means or does, but if it ever came to sitting there with notepad (or whatever program) and coding a site from scratch, then I'd always have to refer to tutorial or code snippet sites and work from there.

Its quite annoying really lol, its like being able to read and not write

No no it's just natural. When I coded my first usersystem (PHP) I had to keep looking back at what to do etc. Once you get more fluent it'll go

You get used to it after a while. Practice makes perfect.

I never forget stuff, unless I hardly use it. Instead of looking back at those tutorials look back at your own work.

Yeah, I do this all the time. I'll be starting a code from scratch in notepad and I don't remeber like 1 or 2 things so I'll just open the index from another similar layout I coded and just check. After doing it a few times you'll start to remember

I used to get this all the time with php and a little with css. It sticks in your head after a while, and you become better at remembering things and experimenting with what you've learnt to create new stuff.

It's normal. I pick them up quite quickly once I use them a few times.
Apatana Studio is a good programme, it suggests codes from the letters you type if you understand me. Like if I typed
    <style type =

    it would suggest

    text/css>

It works with CSS and xHTML and JavaScript. Hope I helped.
