Recovery Disks

Hey,

If i did have a keylogger or a virus and I created some recovery disks, is it possible that they could manage to get into the recovery disks so I would basically be rebooting the virus back onto my pc?

Also, can keyloggers and virus's only infect the c drive? So formating the c drive would be sure to get rid of they keylogger/virus?

No i think that would be safe im not 100% sure but im 97 and sorry i can't help with the other one
