    Default VNC On Vista

    Hello,

    I've tried everything, it seems I can get the VNC server running fine (using ultravnc's "vista compatible" version) but I just can't connect to my computer with vista. I can connect from the vista computer to a computer on my network using XP, but from any computer on the network, it just can't connect to the VNC on the vista.

    Does anyone know how I can get this working?

    I've never bothered with VNC's, so i have no idea on the issues, however try disabling the network?

    Also try making sure everything is fine in the network and sharing center.
