Buffed Scarlet Drop Rate!?

I was doing SM to gain the achievement for SM and when i killed Herod i got 3 tabards drop which as far as i can remember has always had a very low drop rate...



And yes this is retail so the Ashbringer speech is legit as the warrior "omgagnomelol" actually does have an ashbringer

i didnt even know it was rare until i got it on my druid and then got to 70, found out then id never see it drop again ;P

Anyway, now its been broken, ill reply seriously.
I remember the first time i ever went to SM armory and i got the tabard and everyone was like "OMG GRATZ" and i didn't know why, so i was like "erm.. thanks?" then i got told its somthing like 2% drop rate. I don't know if that is true but i know its low, anyway iv never seen it drop again after that and i used to give loads of boosts in armory so i guess they have increased drop rate or your just really lucky.

We did that istance 5 times and it dropped on the last one for me just after i was reading this thread lol =]
