I might be getting a Nintendo Wii for $199 AUD.. That is half the RRP!!!
What are you thoughts, I convinced dad to let me buy it and sell it on eBay but I really want to keep it...

If it's you who's buying it, shouldn't you have the option to keep it or not? If your dad is buying it, do what Paul said and ask for it to be one of your christmas presents.
