From youtube: www.zamzar.com/url and select MP4
You can put them straight in from there
or to convert them (from wma etc to MP4) Red kawa video converter

is it actually an ipod video or ipod touch?
anyway, aimersoft DVD converters good along with video converter. has na ipod option so its in the right format. have a look for a free
version
