    Default Dell laptops

I'm getting a new laptop for my birthday/christmas present from my parents and I am not too sure what kind to get! My first choice was Dell.

I would use my laptop for:

    General web browsing
    MSN
Possibly to play one game on it (Civilization IV)

Does anyone have any comments (positive or negative) about Dell laptops? I'd be grateful to hear them.

How much are you looking to spend on one?

Dell's are great laptops, probably the best brand out there - but it depends how much you are looking to spend.
    Dell's can be pricey!

just go for a Dell Laptop or Toshiba
Never argue with an idiot, he'll drag you down to his level, and beat you with experience.

Dell laptops are reliable as they won't break 2 months after you purchase (unless you smash it on the ground or something)

Laptops aren't the best to play games on (unless your spending about 2 grand)

Seeing as it's my joint birthday and christmas present (as my birthday is in december also) money isn't really an issue. Don't want anything wayyyy OTT. Under £800 is my aim.

I think I found a really nice Dell laptop today for £620! Looks really nice, has everything that I need (at least I think I need!). It was s Studio 7 laptop (again, at least I think thats what it was!).

Ok i'm officialy useless at laptops

Dell would probably be your best bet in that price range, try www.ebuyer.com they have some decent laptops but aren't customisable like dell.

    inspiron FTW
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
