Whatever happened to the godamn console gaming stickies?

Okay so I go away for 1 day (OMG PURPLE WENT OFF HXF FOR 1 DAY OMG OMG OMG OMG) and I come back, and where the hell are all the stickies gone? I hear the reason is ''to get rid of spam.'' but how can it be spam? Keeping stuff well organised and well done is what forum rules are all about!

Okay, example, you get rid of the 'Post your PSN IDs here' thread, and why the hell did you do that, honestly? I mean we all know that you can just skim across a members profile in their posts, but what about people who don't post often? That thread was a great libary of our users, and now I've forgotten half of them, I want to add them again.

Another complaint, you got rid of most of the stickies in the Sony section, but left 'FOR THOSE HAVING FREEZING ISSUES WITH GTA IV', it's been more than 6 months and its still there, it's been patched on the playstation and eggbox so I don't know why the hell it's still been sticked.

I can agree with you all on getting rid of the achivements and accomplishments thread, now that we have gamertags and playfire PSN links, but I can't see where your going in getting rid of the post your setup thread, now people could just waste your bandwith and post a new thead called 'lols lewk at mi rig lololol!11'.

It is very simple to PM me, and as those who have know you get much more comprehensive answers when you contact me, and it either makes more sense or you understand better. And its easier to handle the threads on a case by case basis as it very difficult to create a general "rule" for this. One of the misconceptions is that we were discouraging "spam" in the form of pointless posts in between bank pictures and such, we are actually trying to decrease the number of threads where you post and it is forgotten.

Not directed at anyone in particular just those that read this, you probably won't get a decent answer unless you send a fairly civil personal message as this is a case by case type situation. Its ok to be mad (no pun intended) or upset but being rude is a completely different thing.
