    Update drivers for the NIC
    Try resetting the router
    Try a different internet cable
Is there any connection (even limited)

I'm not too good on this subject so I don't really understand routers etc, when I start the computer up it says 'identifying' and a few minutes after it skips to 'Unidentified Network' and stays at that.

Loads of people have this problem but I can't find the cure anywhere.. So annoying :@

This is another thing that has happened to me, which router are you using?

Check that your Ethernet port is enabled (By checking that a light is on from the port)

is your device drivers for the network properly updated, is the cable plugged in properly, open CMD and do ipconfig see if you get a reponse.

Type Cmd in the Start Search text box, press ctrl-shift-enter (this runs CMD as admin)Type netsh int ip reset in CMD and press enter, restart the computer.

Do same as above but type netsh winsock reset
