Prayer helped my great grandmother through a fatal stroke and she's still alive today. She was a miracle

I always pray when I feel I need extra guidance in my life, and God has always lent me a helping hand. And for anyone who says that they don't believe in God because he never answered their prayers, God knows what's best for you. He's not always going to give you what you want, but he offers everyone a path to getting help. It just depends on whether you want to find and follow that path or not. God won't do all the work for you You need to put in some effort too.

Praying always helps me, but dont confuse praying with asking. If you pray for something, God does hear about it, but he does not always give, for this is not what he wants. He has a set plan in motion, and he wants it to set off in the order that he wants. Say tonight I pray for something shallow, lets go with habbo related, I pray for a throne. God says that he wants me to get a throne in a week, I will get the throne whether I prayed for it or not. Simply put, prayer is just a way of talking with God, he knows what you want and he will give it to you if it is his will.

A lot of people see prayer as a awesome version of the argos catalogue when they need something they ask god to give them what they want. Sometimes its silly things like winning the lottery, but a lot of the time someone turns to God to save loved ones from a fatal illness or accident.. People often turn there back on God when they don't get what they order from him but what they fail to realise is God isn't there to make our lives any easier he wants to see us tested he wants us face temptation and thats where I think a lot of atheists get it wrong.
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Because there talking to the mind thought of another spirit with such highly powered control over the world to help them/give them things they want.

Thats what I got told by my teacher back in school...
