Default PHP // Where to start?

    Hello there HxF members

I've been bored lately and I've decided to start learning PHP as I feel like learning to code panels etc.

Where do you think I should start out to learn, and long do you think it will take me?

I need examples of sites please

Feel like giving +REP so people who even slightly help get some :eusa_danc

I learn from Coda as I just found out around 2 weeks ago when you get the unlocked version is has a bunch of references you can use and search for

You don't really want to get into PHP yet as I'm pretty sure you can't code FULL xhtml + css - Concentrate on them first.
    Back for a while.

Get a PHP product such as a radio panel, look at the source and find out what each function does and learn by that. That's the best way of learning and how I learnt most of what I know now (which, by contrast, isn't alot).

Yeah, that's how I learned some CSS classes and such. Doing this is also a bad thing though, because I may pick up on bad habits

That's true, but as you learn, you learn about them and rectify the mistakes in knowledge that you have .

Yh I guess, but IMO I'd just rather not even pick up on bad habits/mistakes

    +REP to you both!

As posted, look at other sources, and read references. Experiment by changing the syntax in panels. Explore.

It's how I'm learning to code.

The best thing for you to do as I said was grab Coda or even use Google. Proceed to downloading maybe a radio panel and paste the variables/functions into there and see what they do.

What do you figure the quickest way would be?
