    Default Programs?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend me the best program that is sort of easy to use and to learn from.
I want to learn to make layouts and design webpages but not sure on a program.

If you could name some of the best you know, I'll look into it and don't worry if its a pay one, I know other ways.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Do you mean coding programs or programs to draw layouts?

Coding: Notepad is the best . Then when you have the hang of it (I would start with xhtml and css.) move on to another program. Don't even think about dreamweaver O.o lol I've never liked it.

Drawing layouts: Paint.net is pretty good for a free program. But for professional layouts most people will recommend photoshop ($$$)

I always recommend to go with notepad and free programs at first in case later on you decide that designing web pages isn't your thing then you won't have spent money uselessly ;]

I use notepad for everything and pain.net but that's because I'm cheap x]
    Waz ;]

And then get viruses that steal your information and give you porn site ads. :]

Then you internet site provider finds out your downloading illegal programs and calls the cops on you.

I never recommend stealing and downloading illegal programs but it seems the world has changed and everyone has gone to the dark side.

You have fun with that now.

Get a virus scanner. And also, if you use a decent torrent site like Piratebay or Demonoid then you can read the comments which tell you if you are about to download virus !

Too bad an anti virus cannot find every virus.

And I'm not going to be posting again. Because, you will probably just continue on and on because you think you're right.

Sure, you're getting it free, but you're stealing and is it really better to steal it then to actually buy it? You lose something either way, so now I'm not even going to reply anymore.

    Waz :/
