Default Got My New Car :)

    Goood morning people

I picked up my new car yesterday, I couldn't take any photos because it was about 5 or 6 o'clock, so the photos would of been a bit crap

    Here's the back:

(The images are 600x400 and something, but I'll spoiler them anyway)

    Here's the front:

The steering wheel and central console:

If you can see, behind the steering wheel is the Ford Power Button. It's only done 30 miles, 11 when it was picked up and the rest from driving around.

Close up of the central console:

The controls for Phone, Radio, CD and AUX naturally need the radio turned on, but this can be over-ridden by the voice controls near the steering wheel.

    USB and AUX connectors:

    Interesting spec stuff

The keyless entry isn't like on other makes of cars, the car boot is the only thing to unlock and you have to be within 1 metre of the car. To open the rest of the car you push a small button on the door handle, but again you have to be within 1 metre/a few feet from the car.

To start the car you literally have to be inside, it can't be started outside and the central console gives a small warning saying the key is out of range/undetected.

    1.4 Petrol engine
    Bluetooth
Red ambience light that gives a subtle glow to the central console and handbrake.
    Auto-wipers
    Auto-headlights
And the mirrors fold in when the car is locked.

New Fez are nice however you only need the button to lock the car, unlock is automatic once the key is in range. Also don't trust the 'out of range' messages, they glitch quite a bit. Enjoy the new Fez though, hope you have better luck than I do in the Mondy with voice control.

£13,170 something, but it's on finance.

The keyless range is quite good, I made a game out of seeing the distance between it unlocking and the range between allowing you start the car. It seems quite safe, so hopefully not too glitchy It's about no more than 1 metre to unlock it and the car doesn't allow anyone to start it when the key is out of the car. When I picked it up I had to get out while it was on (but not started) and it came up with a warning message about the key being out of range.

Also, it's a New Fiesta so obviously a 58 reg plate It came out in mid October so getting it on an 08 plate is near impossible I believe?

I need to get the insurance done soon, it's on Ford's FREE 7 day drive away cover. But it won't be anymore than £1,200. It should be less with the security settings, but only one way to find out

I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

Standard. I despise automatics with a passion

It comes with cruise control aswell if anyone's interested.
