The majestic trade is simply a one-off trade and there is a likely chance that he did see that trade.

1 maj - 1hc is half price.
Ive seen a hc sofa sell for a speakers corner, also half price.

i've seen some strange values in my time.

for example about 14months back... i witnessed someone selling there throne at a mear 20hc's, well below the then value.

its just fluke things like that.
