    Default Keyboard problems.. again

A few months ago I posted about me spilling tea over my keyboard, and it stopped working.
Recently I got a new keyboard which I could plug into the side of my laptop and use.
But sometimes, when the keyboard is plugged in, my laptop sometimes freezes for one second, and my keyboard stops working, and my laptop makes a strange sound.
Then it suddenly starts working again.. I was wondering if anyone knew what's going on?

Could be a power issue with the connectivity and usage..

What type of keyboard is it?

    Is it a USB one?

I'd also take it back and see if you can get a 'laptop' desgined keyboard, thesea re usually less consuming of resources.

is your laptop still under warrantry? if yes get dell to look at the laptop

regarding the external keyboard, try using another usb slot if avaiable, if it came with drivers reinstall them, and then if they doesn't work i'd take t.a.t.u's idea of returning it
