Hold down the power and home button to turn it off, then plug it into your computer.

Nothing, as soon as i unplug the ipod, it says that i can restore it.
I hear the buzz to say its connected, but its just not responding on the screen or anything.
I haven't got a clue what to do?

Nothing has changed, tried re-starting my laptop, won't even recognise my ipod now without me turning it on, still buzzes though >.<
