    Default [Help] FS2004, Vista?

    Hello

    I'm havinga problem, i've just set up my new pc, tried to install fs2004, ran autorun, and the setup didn't pop up, i've tried clicking on the setup.exe, having compatibility for xp, ans still didn't work

    So i install all 71 updates and tried same again, still didn't work.
    Any ideaS?

    btw, it's Flight Simulator 2004

    Right click > Run as admin?

    Mine worked as soon as I popped the disk in :S

    Nope, doesn't work <:{
    FSX installs just fine

    I'm gonna ring microsoft tommorow, see if they can sort it

    turned out it was a disc error, so microsoft have sent me the whole game absoloutly free

    *****, I've fixed the disc
    Now i'll have two copies
    One from 2003, and one from 2008 lol

    You'll have to on purposley sratch the disc, they do an xcopy or somit lol

    I could also do with a new FS2004 disk, I can't get past disk 2 on the install :@ Whats the number you call to get a new one?

    0870 60 10 100 (be quick shuts at 6pm, opens at 8am)
    Say you get a disc error when isntalling, they'll take control of your computer (remote assitance sort of) and do an xcopy on cmd.

    They copy all the files from the disc temporerily and if one fails, they say the disc is corrupt and send you a new game

    (I dunno how it works, but it's done in command prompt lol)

    K thats out of the option because I am using Windows 7 and they will try to charge me for it
