Trading Between Hotels - How It Works

Okay, some people don't seem to understand how you trade between hotels so this topic is basically just explaining how to.

Firstly, only trade with someone you trust as this is a very easy way to get scammed.

Once you are wanting to trade something between hotels, lets say Ted was wanting UK furni for his US furni and Bob wanted Ted's US furni for his UK furni. What they would do is meet each other in rooms on both Habbo US and UK. It is a bit like a donation and one of them would donate their furni they were trading to the other one and then the other person would do the same on the other hotel.

And if possible, have someone, preferably a Hobba there as as I have said, this is an easy way to get scammed.

Problem is, Hobbas woulden't go to every room that someone is trying to trade credits for furni, or hotel to hotel or anything like that, it'd waste there time.

That might be true but if you have a friend that is a Hobba, maybe they would go and if not just make sure someone else is present.

they question is how to trade without getting scammed.

Doc I got asked how to do it yesterday so I thought I'd make a topic about it for those who didn't know how to do it.

Hobbas mightn't have the time so you should have someone else present just incase you do get scammed then you have a witness.

The problem is, even if Hobbas were in the room they couldn't ban if one of you was scammed, as each ban needs evidence: what evidence would they have? There isn't logs for Trading or furniture dropped in rooms :s

I'm with Seacat, Witnesses are useless on Habbo. Doesnt matter if someone watches you get scammed out of 100 thrones in a Hotel to Hotel trade or in a casino. You take a chance, you rely on the honour system. No one is going to help you in the event you get scammed in a trade or a casino, its not Hotel staffs fault nor is it a part of their policy.

That is true, can't argue with that. Just thought I would post a thread about it as someone asked me how to do it.

I will not trade between hotels again unless it is with a trusted Habbox member or a Habbox staff.
