Vista Window Flickering

Well, basicallyyyyyy every so often the window you have open will flicker (like the border and the top bit) and when you go to start and try and click on a program so the bit expands below, start menu will just shut. It's also like that with some other little things, as soon as you click it it just shuts.

I thought it might be to do with the graphics driver or something, but i updated that. Any ideas?
