We could whine all day about how it was better in the old days, but scrap that, satisfy your need for some sexy nostalgia and check out this website right here:

    http://pewpewstyle.net23.net/

Plenty of images from the older Habbo, looked like good times. This isn't my site and I havn't a clue who owns it, but I'm looking for more like it.

Anyone got lots of old images? Or perhaps a similar website?

Yeah, check out this Habbox Rare Values page from December 2004, look how few rares there are in comparison with todays, it seems mind boggling the ammount we have now! I'm going to go ahead and guess that the top super rare, worth 43T was the Snowglobe, oh how we looked upon that with awe.

Click 'Rares' then 'Rare Values' on the link:

I'd forgotten how simple it all was.

Why does everyone prefer it? Simple things please simple minds.

Close minded proverbs leads to ignorance.

We preferred it because there was less complication, less recolours of furniture. It was easy to familiarise with the surroundings. There were also a lot less Habbo's, allowing for a closer community with more recognition of those around you. Limited furniture left inspiration and excitement for what new furniture is ahead, now we have become desensitised, and new ranges become a bore. Habbo was also a lot less forward in it's pursuit of further profits, things moved slower, at a pace people with normal lives could be comfortable with, these days, missing a week means a lot of catching up.
I could go on, but simply, if you were there, you would sympathise.
It's like anything in life, 'the good old days' of High school, the 'summer of 69' or whatever it may be, nostalgia is a great emotion to pursue.

Because it wasn't full of 2005/6/7/8s and there were Moderators and hobbas.

HOSKO02, you just proved my point.

Seriously, move on. Nostalgia is a horrible thing to pursue, it's alright to use for reminiscence but not to use--it makes people ignorant.
