    So there i was, Innocently pondering the net.

    Donating to Orphaned children, then cancelling the transaction, when...

    BLUESCREEN DUN DUN DUN

    How can i stop it occuring again, Because i really don't want to get a PC Repair. I don't like people look on my computer.

    i dont know the error code, the bluescreen pops up for less than a second, black screen then back to the starting screen

    i get blue-screened if my gfx card is overheating. are you covering the fans?

    Vista: Right Click Computer in Start Menu > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Satrt up & Recovery Settings > UNTICK Automatically Restart.

    About the same for XP if I remember correctly.

    If/When it does it again, write down any file names and the error codes and post back.

    Start your computer in safe mode and do a system restore to the point before you started getting blue screens.
